The Last of the Great Golden Era Italian Cremona Violins ever made was by this family .  This Violin was made by Joseph or Guiseppe Ceruti, he was the son of  Son of Giovanni Battista Ceruti and father of Enrico.  His workmanship closely follows in his fathers tradition. Precious little of his work survives, and the few that do are considered exceedingly valuable and rare.


This violin was played extensively around the world and with a very prominant Orchestra here is the United States.  It is a powerfuly robust and dynamic instrument suitable for professional use in any setting. 


We are currently studying this violin, making measurements and will have bench made copies as soon as all details have been examined.
